Seasons Greetings one and all! How about some Eggnog to wash down that Christmas turkey? Or to be more precise some EGGNOGG+ – a NIDHOGG-inspired competitive arcade game of immortals sword-fighting to the death.
Fight your friends to the death and reach the eggnog first. EGGNOGG+ is a local multiplayer platformer in which your goal is to fight the other player using swords and fists, in order to reach the lake of eggnog first and be declared the winner. In essence, this is a two-player brawler designed for short matches with simple gameplay mechanics.
I know lots of women who like a challenge, but who also hate those “hidden object” games. Now, she is doing other things, but the guys seem to hang onto those games, even when they’re older.Me, I’m, obviously, older if my daughter is 30. 
TBS in the Jagged Alliance/Xcom mold, but I think it is even better than those games. Originally created for TOJam as a re-imagining and parody of NIDHOGG, EGGNOGG+ has now taken on a life of it’s own and become much more than a NIDHOGG Knock-off. It features fast paced local multiplayer swordfighting across maps with multiple screens, hazards and animated beasties such as skeletons and bugs. The aim is to out manuvere and out-duel your opponent, with victors being rewarded by being allowed to move forward one screen towards your goal. Super nintendo emulator mac games. Character control is very precise and the gameplay is a blast, much like NIDHOGG, it makes for some highly competitive play.
The pixel art visuals of EGGNOGG+ are wonderful, full of nice little touches and animations, and the procedurally generated bytebeat tunes are excellent. All in all it’s a highly competetive and rather addictive game. What better to do on Xmas day? Isn’t kicking, punching and stabbing your friends and family what Xmas is all about anyway?
