Super Mario Galaxy

Amazing story, perfect game play, and all around beautiful scenery. - MasterBeef

This deserves 1st place!
Call of Duty was definitely a great game, but it does not come close to how MIND BLOWING SMG was.
Diverse levels, a gameplay mechanic that never gets old, amazing presentation, Super Mario Galaxy was a gem that will never get a old..
Until you play the sequel..

Best gameplay, graphics, sound, and overall best video game of the decade, easily game of the year 2007. My second choice would be Halo 3.

People don't get me wrong I LOVE Bioshock it's my favorite game rated M and my favorite first person shooter (it has gameplay unlike Call of Duty) But I have to go with SMG. Along with SMG@, super Mario galaxy is the best game ever and I can't believe a game from a franchise as overrated and repettive as Call of Duty scored above this. Number 2 isn't good enough or this gam the graphics were colorful and beautiful the gameplay was well crafted and while it lags behind the past 2 3d titles in diffiulty just a bit who cares this game is awesome this is why fans of different companies hate Nintendo because they know that this game is the highest rated ever and has helped make them the best. - HeavyDonkeyKong

3Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I found it hard to decide between Halo 3, Bioshock and COD4 but I'm a Halo fan forever and I think it deserves 1st place

5Super Paper Mario

Even though it wasn't an rpg, it was still incredibly fun to play. It also had the darkest story in almost every Mario game (except maybe Partners in Time). - MasterBeef

This game was amazing. Even though the concept is dark, it did it in a good way that improves the storyline just like what they did with majoras mask. Much better than the crap paper mario games Nintendo are putting out now.
